Drawing on findings from The Vulnerable Birth Mothers and Recurrent Care Proceedings project, led by Professor Karen Broadhurst (see here for more details), Claire Mason has co-authored a new frontline briefing for Research in Practice. The report focuses on the issue of parental non-engagement in child protection and specifically focuses on the impact that complex trauma might have on adults' ability to engage with services, and is available from the RiP website.
