Building a picture of fathers in family justice in England

First practitioner-focused report now available from our project 'Up Against It', in conjunction with colleagues at CRCF ( The project is looking at fathers' experiences in recurrent care experiences . The report presents findings from our analysis of Cafcass administrative data, on the similarities and differences between mothers and fathers in non-recurrent and recurrent care proceedings, as well as findings from focus groups with social work practitioners on the challenges and issues in developing practice with recurrent fathers.
